Completing the senior members of management, our head of Legal has 30 years of experience in Commodity Trade and Structured Finance and debt recovery within large international banks.
Adequate back up personnel is also employed to ensure the smooth running of many transactions monitored by SCCF from basic Soft Commodities to specialized metals and Petroleum products.
Founder & CEO
Dimitri, the CEO and Founder of SCCF, has more than 28 years of experience in Trade Finance, Structured Finance and commodities trading. Before founding SCCF in 2004, Dimitri was Vice President at BNP Paribas (Suisse) SA. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Dimitri worked in other Swiss banks and at Finco division of André & Cie SA , a Swiss major commodities trading company.
Head of Risk
Patricia has over 25 years experience in Commodity Trade Finance and Corporate Banking as a Senior Credit Officer – Risk management – and was previously Head of Credit in leading banks, notably Credit Suisse and BNP Paribas Suisse. All of her extensive previous hands-on experience allows her to fulfil her position at SCCF today as Head of Credit Risk with a strong amount of competence.
Head of legal
Philippe Berta is a Swiss qualified lawyer, formerly General Counsel at BNP Paribas in Switzerland and Head of Legal Trade Finance at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise. His areas of expertise are Commodity Trade and Structured Finance, Corporate and Shipping Finance, Private Banking, Regulatory and Compliance matters. Philippe participated in the 1990s in the creation and organisation in Geneva of a new Swiss bank active in Commodity Trade Finance.
Philippe is a member of the ICC Banking Commission Legal Committee and of the Financial Crime Risk and Policy Compliance Group in Paris and acts from time to time as DOCDEX expert under the ICC alternative dispute resolution rules. Philippe is also in charge of Module 12 “Legal and Compliance” of the Diploma of Advance Studies in Commodity Trading at the University of Geneva.
Member of the Management
Héloïse has 15 years experience in Commodity Trade & Structured Finance. Prior to joining SCCF,she has worked at BNP Paribas (Suisse) SA where she performed different roles as Credit Analyst, Relationship Manager, Loan Syndication Director in the Energy & Commodities Structured Debt department, and more recently over the last 5 years Team Leader for the Metals & Mining Short-Term Financing Desk. Héloïse holds a Master’s Degree in Business, Administration & Finance from HEC Paris.
Head of Compliance and Product Structuring
Philippe Moreau is a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience in the market finance.
After having started his career at Ernst & Young, Luxembourg, as a Senior Manager within the Asset Management practice, Philippe was formerly the Group Chief Compliance Officer of Unigestion in Switzerland during 7 years, where he evaluated, managed and oversaw regulatory, risk, audit and operational issues throughout several markets including Switzerland, Luxembourg, U.K.,France, Canada, Singapore and United States. Philippe worked as well as the Chief Operating officer of Harness Investment Group, where he managed the operational growth, business and framework.
Head of Structured Finance
Charles-Guillaume is a structured finance banker with over 10 years experience in the commodity sector. Prior to joining SCCF in December 2019, Charles-Guillaume spent 8 years in the Structured Debt department of BNP Paribas, financing commodity producers to fund their organic or external growth. Charles-Guillaume also worked 3 years in the Structured Trade Finance department of BNP Paribas, where he was in charge of originating and structuring working capital credit facilities in favor of commodity traders, refiners and bunkerers. Charles-Guillaume holds a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Economics from the French Petroleum Institute, a Master’s Degree in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines, and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the French engineering school “Ponts & Chaussées”.
Head of Investors Relations
Helen Guillemot has over 30 years experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining SCCF she
headed up the EMEA Syndicate team for Structured Commodity Finance at BNP Paribas, based in
Geneva. During this time she was seconded to the BNP Paribas Syndicate platform in New York with
an emphasis on the energy & commodity sector for the North American region adding to her many
years’ experience within Syndications for the commodity sector across CEEMEA and ClS. Prior to
Joining BNPP in 1999, Helen worked in syndication sales at ANZ lnvestment Bank, London and Paris,
the Supervisory Division of the Bank of England, London and for the EU Commission in Brussels.
Helen holds a Masters in Economics from UCD Dublin, lreland.
Senior Trade Finance Manager
Humberto has more than 24 years of International Trade and Structured Finance experience. Humberto spent 20 years at Cargill where he held senior positions and managed various businesses within Latin American and US geography’s for Cargill’s Trade and Structured Finance and Structured Risk Management Business Units. Humberto will manage our US Branch in Miami and responsible for Origination in the Region.
Senior Trade Finance Manager
Daria has been with SCCF since early 2014. She is involved in the origination of new (CIS) clients, structuring of credit applications and monitoring of trade finance credit lines. She holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Commodity Trading from the Geneva School of Economics and Management Executive, University of Geneva. Daria has extensive experience in Commodity Trade Finance with specific expertise in oil products and grain exported from CIS countries.
Senior Trade Finance Manager
Davide is a Senior Relationship Manager with more than 20 years of experience in Commodity Trade Finance. He always worked in Swiss banks (Banca dello Stato for 7 years). Before that, he covered the position of Head of Commodity Trade Finance for 13 years in other swiss banks such as Banca Commerciale Lugano and Indosuez.
Sébastien has more than 15 years of experience in asset management and business development. Before SCCF, Sébastien was in charge of the marketing and business development at Diapason Commodities Management SA, a leading asset management firm in commodity investment solutions, Prior Diapason, he was structured products sales at Société Générale Alternative Investment in Paris.
Senior Relationship Manager
Selçuk has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry in international trade, commodity finance and corporate banking. Prior to joining SCCF, he held senior positions with Swiss and Dutch Banks (Credit Europe Bank Switzerland and Belgium and The Economy Bank NV Netherlands). Selçuk is responsible for origination of new clients, arranging trade and commodity finance solutions and corporate advisory services.
Senior Collateral Manager
Olivier has 30 years’ experience in Commodity Trade Finance, as Team Head of Letter of credit department, Senior Account Officer, Head of CTF Middle Office and Senior Collateral Manager at Credit Suisse, Société Générale and BNP Paribas. All of his previous experience allows him to fulfil his position at SCCF as Senior Collateral Manager in charge of vetting the collaterals and other securities available on financed transactions.
Marion is responsible for the Group’s accounting, audit and financial management functions. Before joining SCCF in October 2014, Marion worked in the Accounts department of an independent family-owned company with global market leadership in B-to-B distribution. She holds a Swiss Federal Diploma of Higher Education of Chartered Specialist in Accounting and Financial Management.
Senior Risk Officer
Steve has more than 24 years of experience in Commodity Trade Finance and gained extensive experience in banking and trading environments. He served in various operating and management positions mainly in leading first-class banks (CS, BNP Paribas (Suisse) SA and BCV) and in trading companies, notably Cargill International SA. Before joining SCCF in February 2021, Steve successively held the positions of Documentary Credit Specialist, Junior Trader, Treasurer, Senior Account Officer, Team Head of Account Officers, Senior Credit Officer and Relationship Manager. He holds a Swiss Federal Diploma in International Trade.
Senior Account Officer
With 8 years of experience as a Trade Finance Officer on both trading and banking sides, Samuel developed solid skills in Commodity Trade Finance. Before joining SCCF, he has worked at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise in the metal desk. He also worked for 3 years in a Swiss company specializing in metal.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics & Finance from Lausanne Hospitality Management School.
Trade Finance Manager
Anna Aleksandridi has more than 13 years’ experience in oil trade operations and trade finance. Before joining SCCF team in 2017, she worked as in Swiss business development and asset management companies as an executive assistant for corporate matters and operations manager. Anna joined SCCF team in December 2017 as a trade finance manager of petroleum products and grains trader clients coming mostly from CIS countries. She is in charge of structuring, monitoring and management of credit lines as well as following the trade finance requests and holding the positions of the clients.
Trade Finance Officer
Romain joined SCCF in February 2019 as Trade Finance Officer. He graduated from Geneva School of Business Administration in Commodity Trading. He assists the investment team for the implementation of new credit facilities and following up on existing trade finance transactions.
Graduated from SciencesPo Paris, Souad worked at Société Générale in Trade Finance in New York and Geneva offices for nearly 5 years before joining SCCF in January 2020. She is now in charge of assisting the Head of Risk in reviewing the credit requests and the renewals of credit facilities.
Junior Trade Finance Officer
Beata is working for SCCF since August 2019 as Trade Finance Officer.
She monitors commodities trade finance transactions on daily basis and she also ensures all documents submitted are in line with credit facilities in place.
She obtained her master’s degree from Coventry University in Oil and Gas Management.
Junior Trade Finance Officer
Olga Joined SCCF in March, 2020. Her mission is to assist and support Trade Finance team in structuring credit lines and execution of transactions. Before joining SCCF, she worked in hard commodities field in Geneva. She holds a diploma of Geneva Business School in Business Administration.
Albin discovered the crypto-currencies and the blockchain technology in 2014, while he worked in the innovation department of BNP Paribas. After some years of technical consulting in France regarding the blockchain technology, he joined SCCF in May 2018 to create an IT service regarding the data creation, collect and analyse for the commodity trading.
Irina joined SCCF in April 2019 to assist the Accounting department. She holds a Masters degree in Marketing & Business Communication and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the USPEE in Moldavia. Before joining SCCF, she worked as accountant assistant in a fiduciary company in Geneva.
Executive Assistant To CEO
Valérie joined SCCF in October 2018 as executive assistant to the CEO. She started her career in hospitality management working for international brands such as La Réserve Genève and Gstaad Palace. She holds a BTS (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur) from the École hôtelière of Strasbourg.
Richard joined SCCF in April 2020, covering commodity traders in Asia Pacific out of the Singapore office. Previously, he led the corporate and institutional banking team in UBAF, a subsidiary of Credit Agricole CIB, covering commodity traders from the largest in the world to smaller niche players in Asia Pacific, across all types of commodities, and focusing on trade with emerging and frontier markets. He also covered relationships with bank and non-bank financial institutions in the region for trade distribution, loans syndication and treasury activities. Prior to UBAF, he was with Bank of China, Singapore Branch and ANZ Auckland, covering commodity trade finance, syndicated loans and corporate finance advisory. He is a CFA Charterholder and graduated from INSEAD with an Executive Master in Finance with Distinction.
Trade Finance Manager
Darren spent 7 years at BNP Paribas in the commodity finance team as a Transaction Manager and a Credit Analyst. He joined SCCF in December 2020 as a Trade Finance Manager to cover commodity traders in the Asia Pacific region.
Darren graduated from Singapore Management University with a degree in Economics & Finance.
